Kafele Thomas, Founder + Executive Director

Kafele Thomas is the Founder and Executive Director of the Atlas Center for Nonprofits. With over a decade of experience in development, his expertise is institutional giving and database and information systems. Through various roles as both an internal and external consultant, Kafele is passionate about helping organizations become more equitable to both its internal staff and external constituents, dismantling entrenched power dynamics, and creating transparency and open communication channels for organizations. He holds a BS in International Relations & Diplomacy from Seton Hall University, an M.S. in Nonprofit Management, and a post-Masters Certificate in Organizational Design, both from the New School.
